The IBM Debug for z/OS is a powerful debugger that provides debug and code coverage for z/OS applications developed using COBOL, PL/1, C/C++, and assembler. It supports debugging of applications deployed in all z/OS environments including CICS , DB2, IMS, Batch, TSO, and Unix System Services and is powered by the IBM z/OS debugger. IBM Debug for z/OS provides a 3270 based user interface as well as an eclipse-based user interface. The eclipse UI can be installed using Installation Manager or a P2 Install. In combination with IBM Developer for z/OS Enterprise Edition or IBM Wazi Developer for RedHat Codeready Workspaces, expanded UI options are available, including Visual Studio Code and Codeready Workspaces.
