This video demonstrates the capabilities of IBM Z Development & Test Environment - otherwise known as ZD&T. It is a software product that allows you to run an emulated z/OS mainframe on an x86 Linux-based PC for development and test purposes. Build mainframe applications, implement and test code and environment changes like new transactions and resource definitions before implementing them on your IBM Z hardware. As of v12, ZD&T offers you the ability to exploit the z14 hardware capabilities and also provides a comprehensive software distribution, referred to as ADCD, including z/OS 2.3 and all the major IBM subsystems, such as Db2, CICS, and IMS.
