This video shows how message scheduling works in IMS. Application work in IMS is represented by instances of messages in the message queue. That application work can be processed by servers represented by IMS MPRs. It is the responsibility of the IMS scheduler to serve as a “matchmaker” and assign work that needs to be done (messages) with an MPR capable of processing matching work.
