Unit 1, Section 1: IMS Transaction Manager system overview

This video provides an overview the IMS and Transaction Manager components and functions. IMS TM is a transaction manager. Its role is to organize and prioritize incoming work that is represented by some input data stream (a transaction) from some device, process that work, and then send a response back (usually) to the inputting source.
