From ATGStorage January 21st, 2021 |
In this demo, we will show GenIO generating live IO using an AIX Power Server in the ATG Lab, and it will be using 2x FlashSystem 9200’s, that are Hyperswapped together, to show High Availability (HA).
We will reboot one of the 9200’s, forcing a complete storage outage from half of those paths, while showing the live Application simply switching native MPIO ALUA to use other paths, and continue without a problem on the surviving paths.
This application does huge amounts of Write Bursts every 45 seconds, and will immediately complain if those needs are not consistently met.
We will show before, during, and after IO patterns in the GUI, and with live logs, which are also available from the application itself.
