Stew Francis, the CICS Explorer architect and techical lead for Developer Experience tooling in CICS, talks about how CICS TS 5.6 simplifies application development for Java developers, with a new set of tools for CICS Java development.They include a selection of Java dependencies on Maven Central, a new Java API called JCICSX, as well as Maven and Gradle plugins that can package Java applications into CICS bundles and, when used with the new CICS bundle deployment API, deploy them into CICS regions during development time.
