Unit 8, Section 3: IRLM and z/OS Failures
Related Media
This video covers IRLM and z/OS failures. If an IRLM fails, the locks that it held cannot be managed, and they will not be released until the IRLM is restarted. If z/OS or the processor fails, then a status field contained in the sysplex couple data set (CDS) will not be updated.
