Unit 7, Section 4: IMS TM scheduling, part 3: block loader and resident pool

This video describes the block loader (or block mover) and resident pools. The block loader is responsible for working with the storage manager (Variable Pool Storage Manager) to acquire contiguous space in the scheduling-related pools (both PSB pools, (the DMB pool and the PSBW pool) and load the corresponding member from ACBLIB. Scheduling can fail if there is not sufficient space in the pools.
