Unit 13 Section 8: Database Recovery Utility Overview

This video describes how the Database Recovery utility works:

1. The Recovery utility processes all image copy input sequentially block-by-block by copying each block to a block of an empty database data set.

2. Change accumulation updates are applied to the database data set in a skip-sequentially manner to those blocks that are represented in the CA data set.

3. The SLDS (or RLDS) are processed.
