Unit 13 Section 13: Database Backout Utility

The Database Backout utility does this tasks:

• Removes database changes made during the execution of a DLI or DBB region

• Should also be used to backout database changes made by a BMP or MPP region (that was active at time of system failure), when IMS System “Emergency restart” fails

• Removes database changes made by a specified PSB
