This shows how to deliver the presentation for Measuring the Integrated Accelerator for AI.

The Integrated Accelerator for AI on the IBM z16 allows enterprises to deliver real time AI inferencing for their transaction heavy workloads. These new capabilities introduce enhanced SMF records for understanding the performance characteristics of AI models exploiting the IBM z16 on-chip accelerator. This session will discuss various SMF records including the new SMF 30 counters and enhanced CPU MF data (SMF 113). Methods will be shared highlighting steps taken to measure the utilization and performance of the AIU by running workloads using different AI models.
