IMS Long Lock Processing
Related Media
This video describes how IMS handles or reacts to long locks. IMS lock timeout capability is related in concept to the IRLM TIMEOUT value. The IRLM TIMEOUT value controls the timing within IRLM. When the IRLM TIMEOUT value is exceeded by a lock request, IRLM informs IMS. IMS then checks its LOCKTIME value to see if it has been exceeded.
