IBM Z System Recovery Boost Overview and Recent Enhancements

System Recovery Boost provides capabilities to reduce the time it takes to shut down and restart (IPL) a system, and to provide short-term acceleration for specific system and sysplex recovery and diagnostic capture events in z/OS. This video provides an overview with a focus on recent enhancements for the IBM z16, including recovery process boost use cases for SVC dumps, loading HyperSwap configuration information, and customer-selected middleware region starts and restarts.
