Spectrum Protect servers can now replicated their node and filespace data to up to two different target Spectrum Protect servers. This demo shows how to setup mutli-server replication via the command line. Storage rules and sub-rules now have the actiontype=replicate and actiontype=noreplicate. This allows for the granular control of which nodes and filespaces get replicated to which target server. This storage rule’s accompanying schedule also replaces the need to run a protect stgpool command. If the primary Spectrum Protect server is not available, nodes will still automatically be able to restore from the other two servers they may have replicated to. Repair stgpool also has a new option: server=replicate_server_name This enables the repair of damaged storage pools from replicated copies.
