Sund & Bælt utilizes AI to maintain some of the world's largest bridges

Sund & Baelt — which owns and operates some of the largest infrastructures in the world — is assisting IBM's development of an AI-powered IoT solution designed to help prolong the lifespan of aging bridges, tunnels, highways, and railways. The IBM Maximo for Civil Infrastructure solution further extends the IBM Maximo portfolio while providing deep industry and task-specific functionality to help organizations manage, monitor and maintain their infrastructure assets.

Sund & Baelt is also employing the power combination of IBM Maximo Application Suite on Microsoft Azure with Red Hat OpenShift to support their hybrid transformation and redefine the ways they approach business outcomes in civil infrastructure to drive accelerated deployment, minimized costs, and ensure compliance.
