Episode 5 - VMRM for DR-VM Workgroup Deployment Insights

A VMRM for “DR” topology is the only KSYS configuration that currently supports defining VM Workgroups.  VM Workgroups provide the ability to define much more granular groupings for your Managed VMs - allowing you to define a grouping anywhere from a single VM to one with several VMs.  Defining workgroups into an environment would enable DR operations at the individual VM Workgroup Level (only affecting that grouping of managed VMs), in addition to the Host Group Level (only a subset of physical servers), or at the Site Level (controlling and impacting all of the managed VMs at that Site).  In this video you will see how to view the WG settings in a VMRM DR configuration, review number of different considerations and tips for them, and see how to implement and take advantage of Custom Consistency Group Names.
