Episode 3 - Configuring Managed LPARs for DR Rehearsal Operations

One of the big differentiators in a VMRM for DR deployment is that if you configure 3rd LUN copy at the remote site you can enable DR Rehearsal capabilities.  IBM Flashcopy Snapshots or clones can be used for this, or snapshots available in storage replication offerings from the other supported vendors.  Using this feature the software will allow you to spin up LPAR clones at the DR target location without any disruption to the production environment.  This capability enable you to perform Non-disruptive tests at any time and at any frequency.  In this video you will see how to prepare the target storage LUNs required and demonstrate the various levels at which you can perform DR Rehearsal operations.
