Cognos 11.1.2 now gives users the ability to script in Python against governed Cognos data via a new capability called ‘Notebooks’. A Notebook is an executable document composed of cells that lets you write, run and share code against governed Cognos data.
In this video we will show the following: Creating a notebook, Data shaping using notebooks, Data shaping to a dataset, Scheduling and sharing a Notebook, Embedding Notebook outputs to a Dashboard, and Uploading a new notebook to Cognos.
