New features and functions are always exciting to exploit, especially when they improve productivity!  IBM Developer for z/OS (IDz) includes ZUnit which provides an easy mechanism for developers to automate testcases. ZUnit is an automated unit testing framework for Enterprise COBOL and PL/I, with the capability to record test data to easily create a test. New features in ZUnit include scalability enhancements for COBOL programs, new dialogs to assist in the resolution of recording errors, additional configuration options, new sample programs and more. 

IDz has expanded the capabilities of the Db2 Database Tooling to enhance the developer experience.  New features include a new Db2 for z/OS SQL editor, new SQL Formatter, new catalog exploration and search capabilities, the ability to explore data of a Table and View, a spreadsheet-like experience for Edit Table Data, the ability to create a new SELECT statement from a Table or View, and more.
