Our fast-paced, hyper-connected world has made skills one of the most valuable currencies in today's economy.  Companies must adjust to a "skills-first" mindset and adapt their learning, recruitment, and talent strategies accordingly.  Our podcast series "The Skills Economy" is going to explore ways to build up currency that "buys" the innovation, productivity, employee engagement, and competitive differentiation that drives growth and sustained success. 

With rapidly changing technology, the speed at which businesses must operate to be competitive in a global economy and with human life expectancy rising steadily, it’s clear that lifelong learning will become essential for humans to remain relevant in the workplace. Over the next few episodes we are going to speak some IBM SuperLearners. These individuals earned the IBM Super Learner badge for 2019 by tracking at least 60 hours of learning in the calendar year. Why do these individuals learn? What do they learn? How do they prioritize learning despite their busy schedules? These conversations will attempt to answer some of these questions and help us all become Intentional Super Learners.
