AIX GLVM (Geographic Logical Volume Manager) 101 (Understanding AIX IP Replication)

This session explains the AIX GLVM (Geographic Logical Volume Mirroring) synchronous and asynchronous concepts, demonstrates the configuration menus within the AIX operating system, and outlines the different ways that the solution may be deployed - locally or across remote locations.  We will login into a PowerHA SystemMirror integrated cluster and demonstrate the available features to manipulate GLVM relationships.  And finally, we will provide throughout the session recommendations and considerations to address specific business requirements.
