Unit 11, Section 5: High Performance (HP) Unload and Load Tools

This video describes the HP Unload and Load tools. HP Unload is a tool that is available from IBM. One of its functions is high speed sequential retrieve (HSSR), which is useful when performing sequential processing through a database. 

The HP Load tool can minimize the run time required for database reload including the handling of logical relationships and secondary indexes and create and initialize an empty IMS database.
