The impact of newly-developed applications on the production environment is sometimes hard to predict, yet the results have always been critical.  Implementing this code in production requires continuous communication between development and system teams, and developing alternative processes in order to take a proactive approach. As Garanti BBVA Technology, starting from the second half of 2020, we started to analyze new applications with operational data from our production systems' databases before moving these applications to our production environment.  With this approach we detect possible application-related production problems caused by SQL performance problems in our test and QA environments, and we generate alarms with possible actions to our development teams. Our solution focusses on static database queries.
