With a vison to become a Smart Hospital, Asan Medical Center (AMC) was seeking to improve customer service and operational efficiency through technology. AMC collaborated with IBM Services to automate bed allocation and inpatient reservation through intelligent automation using IBM Garage methodology. Intelligent automation has helped Asan Medical Center reduce bed allocation time by upto 20 minutes. The AMC staff involved in registering patients, were able to save approximately 3 hours daily, giving them more time to dedicate to patient care.
